Great place to train. They made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. Never judged me on what I did wrong but instead helped me. I was scared to try something like this because I knew I had no training before and would fail. But the instructors are extremely nice and help you along the way. Choosing this gym was the best decision I have made. Wouldn't trade it for another.

Extremely disappointed..

They start you off on a two week trial.. except it's not a trial program.. because they require a credit card and a commitment after the two weeks. Getting out of it is not easy.

I like the people there, don't get me wrong but the way they go about their business is extremely unprofessional and now they sent my name to a credit collection agency. Wow.. if someone comes in for a trial make it just that, forcing someone to commit when they are not sure if the program is right for them.. at that point you are not about martial arts, bettering yourself and others around you.. your just another guy hungry for the money. Let the person go their own way, if it does not work, down the road he might come back or even recommend his family and friends but at this point..

If you are nervous about learning a martial art for the first time, have experience but want to try something new or even just want a work out, Sakura BJJ is good for all. The place is clean, the people are INCREDIBLY friendly and the instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. My own personal experience has been great and I am developing a love for it and I believe that a reason for that is because of the atmosphere and the instructors at Sakura BJJ

I started JiuJitsu about 6 months ago and I can say it has greatly changed my life. Im not good at socializing much or these things. As Rust Chole would say "I'm not good at parties" but I digress and I'm very happy I started my journey with Sakura. The coaches are great, take the time to cover the smallest of details, and those details matter. The environment is welcoming and energetic. My mind races most of the time but when I'm on those mats I feel tranquility. If your thinking about giving JiuJitsu a try, start here! You will not be disappointed and it's top level instruction!

If you decide at that point that maybe this is not for me, especially when I have past shoulder injuries, which I made clear from the get go. You can't just get out after this trial program... either pay a few hundred dollars or move more than 20 miles away.. yea 20 miles is really not around the corner. Especially when people have busy lives.

Sakura BJJ has become like a second home to me and I have only been training here for 3 weeks. I am already obsessed with this sport and Sakura is the reason I love it so much. I am honored to be apart of this family. All of the instructors are amazing. Chris Civello and all of the trainers here have made me feel 100% comfortable and humble to come out everyday on the mats and train hard even though I am new and do not know to much of the martial art. I am so excited to see where my journey in BJJ takes me. If you are thinking of joining do not be nervous because everyone is great and friendly from the moment you step through the door.
